Adidas revisited the concept in 2005 and printed a famous quote by Leonardo da Vinci on the laces: "For all those colors which you wish to be beautiful, always start with a fresh white ground." In 2006, adidas took the idea to another level and aligned with an independent film studio to create a series of short color related movies entitled "adidcolor Films". Another chapter in the adicolor evolution begins in 2018: an entire apparel collection that revolves around different shades of the main colors.
